The SIBOX processes are based on the Rational Unified Process, but modified based on the experiences of i2i consultants in order to be more practical, and flexible.
SIBOX is continually being developed as i2i’s methodology providing complete end-to-end support to project teams, for building large and technically complex SI projects. SIBOX covers methodology, templates and training materials for System Integrations projects and focuses on System Integrations expanding Software Development processes.
SIBOX Life Cycle
The SIBOX Life-Cycle starts with defining requirements and processes, continues with Functional and Technical designs, implementation and finally ends with testing and training. Since today’s business is extremely dynamic and constantly changing, many given requirements change until the project delivery. This is why the SIBOX lifecycle is follows more of ‘Agile Project Management’ concept that is based on initiating design-implement-test loops until requirements are reached.

The below diagram illustrates the main stages of SIBOX Process Life-cycle. Overall project is divided into the given four main stages and these stages are at times managed as sub-projects, depending on the complexity of the project and the requirements.
