Acceptance Tests

In cases where telecom services or products are delivered by third party vendors, it is important to ensure the service or product meets the stated business requirements and the specifications agreed during procurement. An acceptance test phase usually follows the delivery and integration of the new platforms or services. It is essential for the service provider to devise a test strategy (during procurement) to link the acceptance of a delivery with the degree to which the delivery meets the service provider’s business objectives.
