Celebrating the Success of the Turkuaz Project – A Milestone in Türkiye’s Telecommunications Sector

We are proud to announce the outstanding success of Turkuaz, one of the most ambitious domestic and national transformation projects in Türkiye’s telecommunications sector. As a result of this monumental initiative, Türk Telekom has successfully implemented i2i Systems’ Online Charging System (OCS) for both postpaid and prepaid subscribers, marking a significant leap forward in local technological capabilities.

The i2i OCS is a core component of GSM operations, providing real-time charging solutions that meet the demands of both telecommunications operators and subscribers. Due to the advanced technology and substantial investment required, only a select few companies globally have the expertise to develop such systems. Bringing this technology to life in Türkiye has been a remarkable achievement, demonstrating the skills, resilience, and dedication of Türkiye’s talented workforce. Today, i2i OCS is live and operational, serving over 24 million Türk Telekom subscribers—an impressive feat that highlights the extraordinary potential of our teams when given the opportunity to realize ambitious goals.

To celebrate this groundbreaking accomplishment, we organized a dinner event, bringing together team members from Türk Telekom, i2i Systems, and our valued stakeholders. This event was not only a celebration but also an opportunity to express our deep gratitude to those who have been instrumental in the success of the Turkuaz Project. We would like to extend a special thanks to Yusuf Kıraç for his exceptional leadership, as well as İrfan Uğur, Mustafa Kemal Odabaşı, Levent Öznalçacı, Coşar Baykal, Hakan Tongar, Fatih Bekin, and the Technology Teams and Business Units of Türk Telekom.
